“Michael Katz launched into his first tale, silence reigned.
Katz is a versatile performer and wonderful storyteller”
– Los Angeles Times
“My daughter, a shy child, blossomed in Michael's class,
and
came away inspired by herself – and what could be cooler than that?”
– Abbi, Berkeley Parent
Give your child the terrific opportunity to work with award winning storyteller Michael Katz. Michael has been teaching storytelling for over 20 years throughout California. He was a featured performer at the openings of both the Getty Center and the Disney Concert Hall.
As schools emphasize testing, little time is devoted to the art and skill of speaking. In Michael’s enjoyable class, students can grow in self confidence, expressiveness and creativity while learning the extensive skills gained through the oldest of art forms… STORYTELLING! Each student will learn a story (folktale or original tale) and then present part of it in a culminating performance.
